Hey /g/, which library is better, Qt or GTK.
The only advantage to using GTK that I can see is not having to use C++, but desu writing C++ isn't too bad, especially if you use C-like C++, using a limited subset of C++ features
What does /g/ think?

What did he mean by this?
Depends on what you're targeting. Qt is better for multiplat, or if you're specifically targeting KDE on Linux. GTK is probably the better option if you're targeting Linux in general.

I thought GTK supported Windows and Mac, or is that no longer the case?
>>55868964
It does, Qt is just generally the better solution on those platforms. It integrates better, and shipping is a lot less messy with Qt on those platforms than it is with GTK.
Cool, seems like Qt is the clear winner, guess I'll be downloading QtCreator then

He's got a virus. This is the shit /g/ has been warning us about for years.
>>55869025
A virus??? He must be using a UNIX system!
>>55868953
Anyone who actually uses their Linux on anything other than screenfetch will have both of them installed and Qt is honestly much better of the two

The problem isn't having them both installed, it's having Qt integrate well with the (much more common) Gtk-based environment, which is never the case.
