Fun fact: 21:9 isn't even the actual aspect ratio of 3440 x 1440. It's 64:27 or 2.37:1

3840 x 1600 is actually closer to the modern cinema aspect ratio being 2.4:1 and is actually the correctly named aspect ratio for 24:10. I'd say it's superior in every way.
