It's not a super sturdy finish on the desk, mine has a few spots where I can see the wood underneath after about 6 weeks of owning it, but honestly what I expected for under $100.

The build quality of the desk itself however is fine, sturdy, holds shit well. No concern about weight or anything. Assembly and disassembly is pretty easy, dead simple if you have an electric drill to screw and unscrew the legs.

What the other anon said. I weight about 200lbs and can sit on the thing on a part not directy supported by a leg. The only thing I dislike about it so far is that if you get the brown black it us very easy to notice small dings in the finish and is hard to keep 100% spotless, would recommend going with a light colour finish if it would work with your setup.

And yes I absolutely have zero problems with this laptop. It was very competitively priced ($1549 from Best Buy in February or March) and sure it's heavy as fuck but it's just a bedposting machine for me. The top is made of metal and the part where the keyboard sits and your palms go and shit I can't even tell what material it is. It feels like metallic plastic or something - very sturdy, almost like an ALIEN MATERIAL

I used the laptop stand and arm and attached it to the extra tall pole before I screwed the poles together. I then attached the included monitor arm on the second pole after I screwed the poles together.

I had to buy two mounts but the second shorter mount it still useful because it was a dual laptop and monitor stand.

Also they can be found else where for much cheaper, ebay just has really short links.
