I recently bought from ebay an X230. I have an X201 with the docking station and two chargers, are they compatible? someone knows if there is some trickery to make them the docking compatible?

The PINs on the connector must be the same.

All the chargers are compatible from the T60 all the way up to your X230, but they changed the shape and location of the docking port between X201 and X220.

Also if you're too poor to buy one of the newer docks, good luck sourcing the correct connector for the X230. You could get a USB3 dock instead.
