was using GPe but i've had to restore it to factory so HTC will honor the warranty so i can get a new micro USB port for free.

My man right here. I have literally no idea why anyone would upgrade, the specs are more than enough to run any 6.0.1 rom I know of and the OPO xda community is so big It won't be hard to get Android N to run in the future as well.

Currently running Sultan's unofficial CM13 (6.0.1). It doesn't get any updates anymore, but battery life is good and it is really stable.
