The Bold 9xxx series was my shit. I worked for the corporate office of a major carrier in a regional management position and my first handset issued was the Curve 8320 along with a thinkpad. I was to use the thinkpad whenever possible and the curve when I was out of Wi-Fi range (they didn't want me using an aircard or tethering because they were unreliable and dropped a lot of data) and I fucking HATED it. It was to the point where I'd say I was totally out of coverage when I was in the field just to NOT use that 2G piece of dog shit. Then 3 weeks before the bold 9000 dropped, a RIM exec I had taken around to some events dropped by my office and gave me one.

Holy fuck man that thing was so badass. Same thing happened when the 9700 was about to drop... The rep brought me one (I'm not going to lie, there had been women and narcotics involved in the times I took him out to conferences.) so I could try the new track pad they had replaced the ball with and that thing was noice..

Then everything RIM did after couldn't compete with Android or the iPhone so it was all shit.

You can run Android apps on BB10OS but you can't run Pokémon Go. I'm getting a secondary phone just for the game since my Q10 can't play it.
