So I'm shopping for parts to build a new PC for my husband on NewEgg and TigerDirect (Do people still use these?) and it's way way pricier to make a basic gaming/utility rig than I recall it being like 8 years ago.
Where do you guys shop for parts these days? Is it still a viable choice to buy a pre-assembled dell or whatever and then slap a graphics card in it, or am I wasting my money that way too?
>do people still use Newegg

What's this buck?
If you have no limits on your budget then get the most expensive one 6950x

Okay, roger.
I'd heard about some new chinese sites, that frankly sounded too good and too shady to be true. But couldn't shake the feeling that it might actually be that rare one.

The buck is 750 or less. I just want him to be able to draw on an 8k canvas and play most games without serious lag and framerate drops.
