50c under medium load is shit for an air cooler, much less your $300+ watercooler. Even with those CPUs.

Also why did you drop so much cash on your motherboard and CPUs and cooling system and then finish it out with such shit specs. Shitty GPU (bad even if you aren't gaming), a depressing 16GB of RAM, and tiny 250GB SSD. I just don't understand what would make someone this dumb.

Guts of the PC my sisters dad built years ago.
It's gor a P4SO Mobo
ASUS Ribbon cables
Compaq 240V PSU
Apparently a celeron cpu .
2X256MB ddr3 333MHz uuuix ram, with a hp barcode.
200GB Maxtor HDD
All in a HP Compaq case that weighs about 15 fucking kilo
I'm grabbing the nVidia GeFORCE 4 64MB ddr card out of it for troubleshooting my 8350 build. I think my R7 is DOA.

Unless my problem is not having an OS installed? Because the mobo doesn't have on-board display?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Shits changed over the years.
>>
>>55841130
>16 cores at 93% == medium load?
16gb is still plenty for just about everything.
CPU's are like $60
Water cooler total was $50 tops.
250gb is enough for os and programs.

Because it's a shitty homemade block that could never hope to match up to a commercial solution. Even a super-budget option like pic related (http://www.performance-pcs.com/magicool-anycool-copper-cpu-block.html) only runs about $35 per CPU. Bending over just a little further, and the XSPC Raystorm, EK Supremacy MX, and Heatkiller 4.0 are all available in the $50 to $60 range. Of course, then he'd need to use a decent radiator, not an el-cheapo aluminum piece of shit, but that also has the benefit of not being a piece of shit.

LOL nice fourth world engineering there, pajeet.

>what are curved lines
>>
>>55842593
Doesn't matter if the lines are curved or straight, not when they're big enough to drive a Buick through. There's just not enough surface area for proper heat transfer. A big-boy water block probably has more surface area in one CPU block than his Pajeet Custom Model has for two.

How could anyone get off to the idea of removing their little sisters clothes and licking her tiny body all over, nibbling her neck and kissing her adorable little nipples? Only a heartless monster would think about her cute girlish mouth and tongue wrapped around a thick cock slick with her saliva, pumping in and out of her mouth until it erupts, the cum more than her little throat can swallow.
The idea of thick viscous semen overflowing, dribbling down her chin over her flat chest, her tiny hands scooping it all up and watching her suck it off her fingertips is just horrible. You're all a bunch of sick perverts, thinking of spreading her smooth slender thighs, cock poised at the entrance to her pure, tight, virginal pussy, and thrusting in deep as a whimper escapes her lips which are slippery with cum, while her small body shudders from having her cherry taken in one quick stroke.I am disgusted at how you'd get even more excited as you lean over her, listening to her quickening breath, her girlish moans and gasps while you hasten your strokes, her sweet pants warm and moist on your face and her flat chest, shiny with a sheen of fresh sweat, rising and falling rapidly to meet yours.
It is truly nasty how you'd run your hands all over her tiny body while you violate her, feeling her nipples hardening against your tongue as you lick her chest, her neck and her armpits, savoring the scent of her skin and sweat while she trembles from the stimulation and as she reaches her climax, hearing her cry out softly as she has her first orgasm while that cock is buried impossibly deep inside her, pulsing violently as an intense amount of hot cum spurts forth and floods through her deflowered pussy for the first time, filling her womb only to spill out of her with a sickening squelch. And as you lie atop her flushed body, she sighs breathlessly and her fingers dig into your back as she feels your cock hardening inside her again. You're all sick in the head.

Going to finally finish the casemodding aspect of this this weekend, made the date and everything.
Going to paint the chassis matte black, leaving the outside panels white, cut a new hole in the front-bottom of the case for an intake fan, remove the intake fan at the front.

I've also got to find an elegant way to cover the pcie slots on the back of the computer.
I've also got a modular sfx psu and some sound deadening foam on the way to get rid of spaghetti, the psu showing, and quieten it a bit.

Also considering using rainbow sleeved cables but I want to finish the major aesthetic stuff first to determine if they will fit.
>>
>>55845500

Oh and anyone know of an elegant solution for gpu sag? I cant think of anything other than making a pillar to support it. Oh also im making feet to prop the case up higher off of the ground and im in the process of making a male-female psu extension cable that will have a proper mounting point next to the pcie slots instead of hanging a cable out the back.
>>
>>55845509
A custom bracket mounted under your stand offs that comes around and slides into a slot you cut in the gpu heat sink cover/ slides under the fins, what ever is easier.

They are two seperate GPUs, one is a 1070, the other is a 760 used as dedicated PhysX

Cables are fine, and managed as good as they can be in this case without dropping $175 on custom length sleeved cables

I like LEDs

To the right is a cable leading to a tablet I was using, and to a microphone on a boom arm, to the left are power/accessory cables leading to the other side of the desk where said accessories and power connector are, not much can be done about them.

no they're not, run them behind your motherboard tray, not inside with the motherboard.

>cables outside
Im talking about behind your computer also.
>>
>>55847306
they are behind the motherboard you dolt. Just because you can see the ends that come through the grommets to connect to the board doesn't mean they're all running through the inside of the case. Have you just never built a computer before? You see, the connectors on the motherboard don't connect from behind...
>>
>>55847356
yes>>55847043
and im saying your cable management is cancerous but you're too proud of your rainbow to even accept it.

i mean c'mon, your cables are just bulking up the entire inside of your case almost.
fan cable, H100 cables, GPU cables, 24 pin & USB 3
>>
>>55847382
The 24 pin was almost too far to reach, and faces upwards, not to mention it's stiff as fuck.
Same with the USB3 cable.

H100 cable is too short to go behind the motherboard so I routed it behind the PCI-E cards

GPU cables are long as fuck, most of them are behind the board and stuffed in the basement but that's still not enough space.

I'm sorry you don't understand the intricacies of different board layouts vs. cable lengths and how not everything lines up ideally. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it eventually.
>>
>>55847405
accepting criticism isn't your strong side, plain ignorance and self bloating.
>>
>>55844828
switching dpi in games is a meme
it fucks with your muscle memory
>>
>>55847431
Ignorance is not recognizing that there isn't a solution to every perceived problem.

Not every cable is just the right length
Not every board has an ideal layout
Not every case has a lot of room behind the tray

Sometimes cables are best routed in front of the board.
Sometimes you just can't stuff everything behind the tray.

You can't have "cancerous" cable management if you did what you could to route everything optimally for your specific setup.

Eventually I'll probably get some custom cables and find some replacements for certain parts that I can route better, that doesn't mean I did a shit job. I did the best I could with the parts I have.

It's a SuperNova 650 P2, one of the best on the market (Superflower Leadex, platinum rated).

Your motherboard connector is further down on the board.

Your pump's USB cable is off to the side where it routes more easily over the board.

Your GPU and 24 pin cables are just as bad, you have no top fan, and no rear fan, and no USB 3, so less cables overall.

Also the HAF series have 3 bedroom apartment sized space behind the motherboard tray.

My point is there's a specific reason for everything in my build to be the way it is.

Hell this wasn't even the original board I got, the other was a Gigabyte board which let me have a little space under the board where I could slip some cables, so I was able to route the pump USB through there, not so on the ASUS board. The 24 pin was lower and had more room. The USB 3 was mounted lower, etc.
Except that board died.

I'm sorry this is so difficult for you to understand, anon.

Measuring the water temperature of a loop at the inlet and outlet of a radiator, the hottest and coldest points in a loop, for a 500w load loop and there is less than 1°c difference, meaning the water temperature varies very little across the loop and loop order won't have any meaningful difference.

That said, OP's block isn't great in general

lol just kill yourself already, comprehensive testing shows even using a thick sludge layer of TIM on a CPU wont even effect 1c of temp underload from a "pea size dot" or whatever the fuck you want to claim is the "right" way of doing it.

Second, as I already said. That was while gaming, meaning not all cores are being fully used.

Lastly, having low RPM fans on a fan curve that isn't overly aggressive means my temps are going to vary slightly more than if I had them going at full bore.

The Razer Naga is great if you like shitty hardware and ugly aesthetics. I've ordered two of them and both were DOA from the box. My friend had another that died within a year. They also fit strangely in the palm unless you have tiny Korean hands. Their headphones aren't any better: shitty drivers and vicegrip padding.

Razer products are unequivocal trash. They are the Beats by Dre of computer peripherals. Bad design and bad quality control. Corsair blows them out of the water, although I cannot vouch for these 12-button meme mouses from any manufacturer.

Your GPU is in the wrong slot. The very worst slot, it's probably not even using a CPU PCIE lane, it's probably working off the chipset lane since that's usually what the last slot is. It's probably running at PCIE x4 2.0.

Move it up. Read your manual.

It had a jury rigged HD 6950 I had picked up for $25 because the fan blades had snapped. so Just took off the plastic shroud and zip tied a couple 80mm fans to the heat sink. It would get up into the 80's under load but it didn't crash.

This block has over 200 square centimeters of surface area on the inside. Which is more then commercial blocks. Then again commercial blocks can be smaller due to way better machining and the use of copper. This block needs to make up for the limitations of aluminum and low amount of fins/slots with its size and I think it is performing quite well by keeping two 115watt Xeons around 50 Celsius.

I finished my last build. I just put this one together about three days ago.

How well is that physx working for you? Tried to use my 960 to support my 1070 and it was worse in most scenorios. Lost 1-5fps across most games. I suspect this was because the 960 was in a x4 pci-e slot.
>>
>>55873623
A dedicated PhysX card will always degrade performance unless it's performance is 1:1 to that of the primary card.

Even Nvidia mentions this. Some people are just autistic and insist on reusing old tech or filling every slot.

Irregardless, yes, since the x4 electrical x16 physical bottom slot is run through the chipset it'll degrade performance all by itself.

Looks good but that many fans is useless. Massive DR after like 2 push and 1 exhaust. I get the whole aesthetic you went for though.
>>
>>55873748
>1 exhaust

Do you want to move some air or not?
>>
>>55873679
Yea, 960 isn't that weak though so I thought it would help. Would probably help if I wasnt using a shit mother board with an fx-8320. Will probably just migrate parts as a second pc.
>>
>>55873786
1 exhaust not including your radiator fans, if you have a radiator.

If you have an air cooler 2 intake in front 1 in the back is about as good as it gets. Adding more exhausts or intake makes almost no difference.
>>
>>55873874
Makes no difference to your CPU, maybe. Makes a big difference to getting hot air from the GPU out of the case though.

Why 48v and not X00,000 amphours?

did an easy rubber tubing one for my first custom loop, once the 1080ti comes out i'm gonna sell the 1070, get a 1080ti, and redo the loop with rigid tubing

Neat-o, I'd love to do something like this, I wonder though, will cases like this support high end none water cooled systems? Would there be enough ventilation?

Been using the G600 for 3 years? I don't remember, I think I got it when it was released.

I've had no issues at all with mine, until a few days ago my middle mouse wheel seems to not be as sensitive and I need to push fairly hard for it to be picked up.

Might just get a new G600.

Please stop with the knee-jerk reaction bullshit. That's clearly an X79 board. The lane distribution is, at worst, probably 3.0 x8.
>>
>>55876941
Not that guy but even if true wouldn't the GPU fans be starving for air down there against the bottom?
>>
>>55839709
I wondered why someone hadn't used a radiator in a pc system. I had plans for one a few years ago and got side tracked. They're $20 at a junk yard.
>>
>>55874360
Because $35 per CPU is such a major expense, right? /g/ recommends air coolers around that price for budget builds all the time. I doubt it's more than the cost of that chunk of aluminum that was milled into a Pajeet Custom Block.

It's a 650, and PhysX can a somewhat demanding depending on the game, I also need it for one of my two analog monitors since each card only has one analog port.

>>55873623
Only times I noticed lost performance was in Batman Arkham Origins as the 650 actually just couldn't handle running the PhysX on high. I'm more curious as to how this will handle the bullet debris in Fallout 4 but I already own it on console (didn't have a PC for a while) but I'll eventually get around to buying another copy.

I was thinking of doing this exact setup with the qdc's. Can I ask whether it's necessary to have custom sleeved cables and whether it makes it much easier to fit everything in? Also how are the temps?
