What's the point of a low price if there is no zero availability?
Just be a good goy and buy the 1080

-no
goddamn
>>55829807
>low price
protip: in europe it costs double that price (but in euro, so 299$ becomes about 599€, which is around 700$), AND there is no availability. don't complain.

1060 costs 300 euros everywhere in Europe.
But it's not in stock anywhere.
If anything it seems like AMD cards get more of a EU markup than Nvidia cards. In the US it might make sense to buy a 480, since it's 8% less performance for 25% less cost or whatever, but in Europe they cost the same so it doesn't make sense.

Companies have finite sources. They cannot have 50 million cards available on day 1. For any card launch, there are two routes for the company to take:
Situation 1:
>overprice the cards
Result:
>cards sell badly
Situation 2:
>price the card attractively
Result:
>cards sell out
Guess which situation is more favourable to the company.

>300 euros
just checked on amazon.fr, the lowest price is 350€
>>55830850
The MSI one? Most stores list the EVGA one at 299-309€, but the MSI one is more expensive, and thus in stock.
Amazon might not even list the cheaper ones because they're the ones that are not going to be available for a while.
>>55831424
no, any.
the MSI one is 400€ here. (these are the first results when searching "gtx 1060")
>>55831749
That's strange, even nordic countries have it cheaper. You should probably use amazon.de or something.
>>55830094
thats just how it is. stop whining every thread, you're supposed to live in norway/switzerland/rich country, earn more than americucks and laugh about gpu prices.

Jokes on you, cards are a plenty here in Asia, where they make the cards.
In fact they are so overstocked that the local place is already putting the cards on promo.
>>55832088
Saying "Here in Asia" is pretty vague. Which country are you in?
>>55832105
Taiwan to be exact, hence the abundance of MSI, Asus and Gigabyte cards.
The thing is, even though they are in stock and on promo, not that many minimum wage cucks can afford to spend almost a month's wage on a GTX 1070
>>55832131
Eh, the 1070 is overpriced for how quickly it will depreciate.
Reason the 970 was so popular was its price and power.
1060 is where it's at this time..
I have already seen a GTX 1060 at a store in person (retail). I have yet to see a RX480 retail.
>American
Not to mention the RX480 seems to be sold out everywhere online.
