Unity isn't the worst way, but I'd recommend learning the basics of programming in something like Golang or Python, then moving to C# once you understand the basic concepts

Python for a beginner is extremely harmful, anyone who starts off with programming should learn C first, because pretty much all languages borrow its syntax and it introduces fundamental data structures, memory management techniques, functions, structures, file I/O, etc.
