The Galaxy s5 is one of the most coolest running phones I have ever used.
Plus it still has better battery life than any other Samsung phone, it was really only beaten by the z3 compact

Someone is selling me an s5 for €200, and i want to buy it since the op3 costs €150 more than what i'm willing to spend.
Is the s5 a good phone to have in 2016 considering i'm going to install cm13 on it as soon as i have it?

The s5 is still an amazing phone, it even trumps more modern ones
It is still way more than capable enough
Its battery life is still better than most phones
Even under extreme load, only gets a tad warm(this is more important than you think)
Top notch dac
Great screen
Its back firing speaker is actually the best I have ever heard(for a back firing speaker)
Water resistant to boot
Though the camera isn't all that great, terrible low light and everything looks all watery

S5 wasnt XBAWX HUEG
the s4 active before wasn't either
Phone operating systems should never be so badly coded that they need super powerful mobile CPUs to run them. I think Android is deliberately unoptimized and shoddy to force you to use the newest phone. Google aren't stupid.
