How long until this video editor becomes a viable solution for Linux users? It already looks pretty nice and seems to be trying to imitate Premiere at the moment. I'm going to give it a spin for my next video.

Open source video editing thread I guess

This looks more like Vegas than Premiere.

This looks good. I'll try it some day.

True, I think they're close to 1.0 official release so a lot of the design is going to change. Any other Linux alternatives for video editing? I want to make Linux my daily driver at some point.

I've not tried it, but if it's like Natron then it just looks good but when you try to use it it's a buggy piece of shit and lacks a lot of features. I mean I don't expect it to be as good as a software that costs thousand but at least it should be decent
>>
are they planning on releasing a windows version?

kdenlive is also pretty nice, only a bit buggy the last time I used it

It may take a while. As for NLEs on Linux so far I've tried Cinelerra, Pitivi and Blender.
Cinelerra seems really powerful, but I couldn't get it to work reliably.
Pitivi was nowwhere near powerful enough for what I wanted to do.
Blender was reliable and extremely versatile.

Nowdays there's also a Linux version of Lightworks, which looks like a proper professional product but I haven't tried it yet.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
