Autoruns - control drivers, services and other entries that load at boot
WinCDEmu - mounting .iso-s, even native Windows mounting doesn't work every time
Icaros - ffmpegthumbnailer for Windows basically, get .mkv and .webm thubmnails in explorer
SumatraPDF
WPS Office - chink office that's the best alternative to pirating MS Office, works on Linux
Burnaware (Free) freeware CD burning software if you still do that
4K Video Downloader - download youtube videos or conver to .mp3, used to be open source who knows if it's botnet now, but it works great and has a Linux version

Take a stereoscopic photos with base ratio of 1 to 4 with parallel camera axises.

Rectify lens distortion - basically take a very specific photo and let photoscan do the rest.

Make metric(as in measurable) 3d model of the object, render in parallel projection
>>
>>55794189
As a someone who uses stereoscopic photos to do very precise measurements - it needs flat surface, or with some trickery - you need 3d model of non-flat surface.

CBA to find all advantages, but on quick look TSF has a bit more options then SS. Information about allocated space is nice.
I'm used to SpaceSniffer interface. It looks prettier, you don't have to scroll when expanding folders. TSF has "2D/3D view" only in pro version.
I don't think TSF is lightweight. 4 MB exe file that displays folder/file size/count is too much. TSF pro version looks neat, but 45€ version is IMO ridicilous.

Hey /g/, anybody making use of this?
https://github.com/hydrusnetwork/hydrus

It's a client-sided booru-esque image tagging program that's kind of convenient. Maybe less so if you just prefer to use a server, since more pictures means you need more and more RAM. Last I used it it doesn't seem to support "pools" though.

I remember a while back a lot of weebs were begging for something like this. Are there any /g/-approved applications used to organize files like this?

It is easy to bash on M$FT, but they have been making some pretty big contributions to FOSS in recent months and years. Combine that with the fact that Visual Studio is actually free now (for personal, educational, small business use), and you have a company that is at least TRYING to appeal to stallman-loving junkies.

And in the other corner we have Oracle.

On OpenBSD, rendering anything is very slow because it uses some fallback software rendering for everything because it doesn't support hardware acceleration. I actually had to patch dwm to make it not draw windows until you've finished moving them otherwise you have to watch windows move / resize in slow motion. Also there aren't really any browsers which work on OpenBSD mips64el besides text-based browsers, dillo and NetSurf. Some websites are perfectly usable on it and elinks works nicely.

On Linux, it's not too bad and you can use some browsers reasonably well, though I've only used Iceweasel 3.5 on it. I might try upgrading to the newest gNewSense which apparently supports a fairly new version of Iceweasel, but I'm not sure it would work. I remember reading somewhere that Firefox above something like version 8 dropped support for MIPS. I've tried Midori on the version of gNewSense I have on it, and that doesn't work very well at all and crashes a lot and is an ancient version of WebKit. I don't think newer versions of WebKit would work well if at all.
>>
>>55804975
Have you tried compiling something like Firefox or SeaMonkey in OpenBSD?
>>
>>55804975
So it's javascript making it struggle? You could compile certain browsers for your arch even tho they claim to not support it. I guess they need to step their performance and software support game up
>>
>>55804829
I just installed that like last week.

Upgraded from Netlimiter 2 which I used for an actual decade.

It's a shame that it has no speed grants (to guarantee that an app has access to a level of bandwidth at any time should it need), and that the stats manager can't import Netlimiter 2 stats.
>>
>>55799840
When are you gonna release a version?
>>
>>55805006
I've not tried. I know it would fail to build though otherwise it would already be in the mips64el packages. Also it would take a very very long time building something like Firefox on it. And cross-compiling on OpenBSD is not straightforward. Also it would require a lot of manual bug fixing in Firefox to fix alignment bugs which affect MIPS to get it anywhere near usable.
