Alrighty /g/, I'm an absolute noob when it comes to android, I just got my first android phone today (Vernee Thor (DW I'm outside US)) and a MicroSD card. How do I transfer files from my computer onto the SD card in a way that I can play music off of it? The phone shows up on my computer under the list of connected devices, but has no folders inside and I can't create new ones either. The automatic driver install hung for more than half an hour before I axed it and now I can't get it to come up again. Let's say I have a modern computer with no VGA ports, and I decided to buy one of those HDMI to VGA dongles that only support specific resolutions. I have an oddball vga monitor that I want to use that is 1280 x 1024. Well, that's simple, just use 720p, right? That isn't good enough for me. What I was is a custom display profile that has the 5:4 AR independent of the 16:9 resolution. Is this possible? Basically, I want it so that when I put the monitor on stretch, and I use the 720p resolution, it isn't a stretched image, rather an image with more horizontal definition than vertical. Pic related is just a 1280 x 1024 shrunk down to 720p and back up again. It's not technically less resolution because the 1280 is still there, it's the vertical that has changed. Can you make my display do that?

I also have samba that shares some junk from /media/data/shares/

The Enthoo Pro is a nice case but it defeats the purpose of getting an MATX mobo, I'd stick with the Evolv, I own it personally and it's legitimately the nicest and easiest case to build in I've ever owned. Windows takes up about 40GB for a large installation, so there's still plenty you can stick on a 120GB SSD before you start running out of room.

That mobo seems pretty good, you don't usually see Gaming branded boards that low, especially with those sorts of specs.

Monitors are pretty subjective, personally I'm fine with 1080p and I'd rather have dual 1080p monitors over a single 1440p one, so have a look at doing that maybe. I can recommend a couple that I own which have served me pretty well.

Stock CPU coolers are adequate for what most people want, the only problem is that they're noisy AF so a 212 is gonna be more than enough for almost everyone. Despite the fact that I've got a Noctua NH-D14 I wouldn't recommend buying unless you're doing *serious* overclocking.

The 250GB 850 EVO is only $30 or so more than the 120GB and you'll get some performance gains out of it so you may as well have the room, it should be much much more than enough unless you plan on installing your entire steam library on the SSD.

May as well keep the RAM and mobo, I usually just put out partslists based on what I recommended last time.

For some reason PCPP doesn't recognize that BenQ has any IPS monitors at 1080p, I've got a couple BenQ VZ2250s and they're very well made for how cheap they are. Check Newegg and the like for pricing. Word of advice is to avoid Acer and any unknown brands. Acer don't make good monitors up until the $500 mark.

I have an old PC in the place I work in and we want to use it for a dedicated security camera PC, the problem is that it has a Radix protector card that deletes anything new on the system and I have no fucking idea how to remove that shit. Pulling the cards results in telling me it cannot detect it upon boot and that I need to reboot. I can find no way of uninstalling it from the harddrive and the manual does mention uninstalling but does not say how to do it. It is not installed in Program files or anything. I cannot use the recovery since it does no changes, tried twice. The pc is running XP if it helps.

how would I go about installing Windows 10 to get the digital entitlement without having to upgrade on my existing Windows 7 install? Is that possible?

I read something about creating another partition on your hard drive and installing it to that, letting it boot and register, and then wiping that partition once done, keeping your current OS in the process without the risk of anything fucking up over a direct upgrade.

Is this worth doing over just upgrading it? And would I have to create the new partition on my existing boot drive, or could it be done on my far more spacious storage drive?

Got a problem with tinder clients on windows phone.
I installed timber yesterday, it didn't show any profile so I try another one: 6tin, this worked fine. I wanted to delete the Timber app, but I found "delete account" option and i pressed that. I thought i made a 2 account, so i need to delete one. I was wrong, because that was only one.
