contrary to popular belief isps are more than happy to hand out historic ip records to government agencies.
its very easy to match up someone logged in to facebook with a torrent.
dont be stupid. the NSA knows about dynamic ips and gets historic records from every company behind the table.
they might deny it but thats just for show.
many countries have legalized this procedure to boot.
germany for example keeps logs of everyones historic record for about 6 months officially. unofficially i suspect they are kept indefinatly.
merika and china do the same btw.
