What does /g/ think of standing desks? About to pull the trigger on a 72" Bamboo UPLIFT desk.

I don't have a standing desk, but I do have a tall standing desk with four foldable arms I got for free from the local mall. It could be used as a standing desk or I could put a stationary bike at it.

Really looking to get a new desk though, something with drawers. I seen some used ones I can resurface and make look practically new.
>>
Now, hang on, that looks cool, but don't you need at least two surfaces with adjustable heights?

One for the monitor and one for the keyboard / mouse?
>>
>>55785852
wut

why would you need that
>>
>>55785887
Well the optimum distance from where a person's hands should be and where a person's head should be varies from person to person.

I think he is looking at it in an astetics way/ customization. And monitors probably sit low on normal height desks.

>standing desks
memes

oh

well either way I'm going to get full motion monitor mounts (actually already bought it) so I'm not worried about aesthetics
>>
I've got one at work and I'm buying one for myself asap. Literally no back pains anymore.
>>
>>55785708
OP is that a pixel you have there? If so, is it as beautiful as it is in my poorfag dreams?
>>
>>55786043
that's just a stock photo off of google lol

I haven't bought the desk yet
>>
What would be a good desk under 200 for the Phantom 820?
>>
>>55786043
It's beautiful. Awesome battery, the best screen I have ever laid my eyes on, and great specs.
Even with Debian installed, it's hard getting actual work done with the tiny 64 GB SSD. 128 GB is the absolute minimum I can tolerate if I use my NAS a lot.

I got mine through work, but It's hard to recommend at its price point. eBay has some tempting offers though.

I guess my herniated disc is a meme too.
>>
>>55785708
I've been considering a Jarvis desk. Wirecutter reviews for it are better than the Uplift, but I haven't exhausted all resources

The main reason why I haven't pulled the trigger yet is that I'm having trouble deciding between grommets vs. no grommets and cutout vs. no cutout. Thoughts?
