No reason to upgrade ever again is a stretch but I'll play along. My phone is also ancient, 5.1.1, screen is a very pleasant 720p 4.6 inch with decent ppi, it gets my shit done and I don't feel like replacing with a new flagship unlike some inadequate overcompensating cucks.

My old Note 2 started having wifi issues after 1 year, a week after warranty expired. Into the barbecue grill it went

It's a midranger from 2013 which was abandoned at 4.2, but thankfully there are official CM12.1 builds, and CM13 in the works.

I use microG with the Play Store installed, and it's incredibly light on the battery, and I've noticed some speed improvement compared to the usual gapps packages. If you own an old phone, I definitely recommend trying it.
>>
>>55779800
I have a Note 1 N7000 It's on Android 4.1.2 and I can't install any new apps on it because they all require 4.2~4.4+

I tried installing CM13 nightly but camera quality turned to ass so I rolled back to official.
What do?

Some apps are already saying they wont update with ios 7 tho... So functionality will slowly decrease sadly. Bit for browsing and email and texting, its still a perfect phone.

Man I don't have burn in on ANY OLED device and I own quite a few.

That said the note 2 is 4 years old now and I assume the older tech is more prone to burn in. It's not such a big deal on phones anyway. Do you think they pixel shift or whatever like they do to avoid burn in on TVs in newer phones?
