Hi I'm from 2003. Is Linux worth using now?
>>55771634
Well that depends, what do you use computer for?
>>55771663
Nice try, NSA.
>>55771681
No, I mean do you use it for video games, general browsing, graphic editing/Photoshop?
>>55771634

>>55771663
I use it for installing different OSes and finding drivers for the different components mostly.

What would you recommend to a wincuck refugee who knows nothing about Linux and mostly uses the computer for general browsing, light meme editing, music and video games?

Yeah
Boy there's this new distro called Gentoo, it's hella fun and makes you a leet too, I had to download the kernel into 12 floppies
Also takes me days to compile packages, the CPU is always busy compiling something, but that's OK I keep my pentium 3 turn on 24/7 anyway

I recommend Lubuntu
>>55771634
Shure, if you are running a Server. For a desktop use, still sucks,
>>55773411
Kek just kidding anon
But in all seriousness you should stay away from Linux if you're serious about gaming. There just aren't a lot of games developed for Linux. There's a compatibility later called WINE that lets you run Windows programs, but it's pretty hit-and-miss, and less than half of the Windows games I tried through WINE worked without a problem.
Graphics and video editing can be done easily on any Linux distro.
