My 780ti died recently and I finally got pics - didn't see a pc rekt or gore thread so here's a new one.
Anyone think it's possible to fix this?

>throwing away a GPU because of a burned mosfet and cap
Fucking shitty millennial holy shitnuggets.
>>55768937
There's clearly damage to the board. I doubt you could even find the solder points anymore
>>55768937
If it's so easy explain to me how to fix that
What in the fuck did you do?

Call Louis.

OP here.
My friend ran some benchmarking program and toasted it.

At 1.5 fucking volts?
>>55769093
Furmark probably.
>>55769093
Yep, the pcie was not overvolted or anything - the card is a Gigabyte Windforce 3x OC (GV-N78TOC-3GD).

Nvidia drivers downclock during furmark so fucking much you hit higher power consumption running crysis or some other modern game.
So probably not.
>>55769179
Yeah that's it, Furmark stress test. Also prime95 large FFT torture test was running at the same time.
The computer was pretty hot, GPU at 83 degrees celsius for awhile.

That sounds like a really stupid combination to have running, plus the heat issues. I'm willing to bet the PSU was also partially at fault.
>>55768963
If you need it explained to you then you're not capable of doing it and you'll just fuck it up.

got rekt m8

CPU was at about 70 deg c too. PSU is a Corsair AX1200i.
The idea was to see how hot it can get, a bit too hot in some parts it seems....
