They weren't on the 14"-15" models either. Only laptops that had numberpads had dedicated ones. My complaints are about the full range offered at the store, not just the 10"-11" models.

Don't bother with non business laptops. Get used business laptops and they sit around (sometimes lower) the price of new consumer ones.
With the bonus of being much more well made, ports, replacable parts, keyboards that aren't retarded.
Downside is that the performance will be a little old but that's counterbalanced by those laptops being (relatively) high performance when they were new.
