If you want something in an MKV container, you will want an encode or a remux.

You probably downloaded it from a tracker meant for encoders to make their own encodes.

Its for downloading on your phone stupid. Someone with a 100mbps connection has enough money to get netflix or some other streaming sub. People that download movies like that do so through their phones in order to avoid the data cap that comes with tethering their phone to their computer.
