Well I finally bit the bullet and did the upgrade from 7.

Now how do I turn off all the adware, spyware, and botnet shit in it? I already made sure to uncheck everything in the initial setup, no Cortana, no Microsoft account. What else?

go to settings -> update and security -> recovery -> go back to windows 7
