Says who? Does it come factory calibrated? If not, are you factoring in the cost of the equipment to properly calibrate it for important colour work? If you're not doing important colour work, why do you care about how accurate its colour reproduction is?

Well isn't it nice to have nice colors and best quality looking images on your screen? My Dell U2414H only has 96 sRGB and supports only 6 bit unfortunatly, it would of been nice if it had 100% sRGB and supported 8 Bit color reproduction

I have my U2412M at 120 cd/m2 (34). Most of Dell monitors reach 120 cd/m2 around 35.
