I just updated and here's my experience

Obvious and big "express settings" button while custom settings button isn't even a button but a small line of fucking text that's clickable on the other side of the screen.
Every fucking setting in there was a botnet setting that sent my data to microsoft and was all turned on by default.
>Had to click "Upgrade now" 4 seperate times because nothing fucking happened the first 3 times even though the window closed.

From a pure financial view it depends on if you have OEM license or a full license of win 7 or 8. The upgrade is not transferable to a new computer so it's probably a bad decision to upgrade the full version of win 7 or win 8.

I turned off everything I could, even used 3 external programs from github. I'm unable to uninstall one drive and it drives me fucking crazy, I don't want it, I don't need it.
Worst part is it gives me a notification to make me set it up everytime I rebooted so far.
Fun sidenote, I was unable to stall the updates forever and choose when I wanted to update. It was either right fucking now or sometime in the near future.

Last but not least I want to emphasize how EVERYTHING LOOKS FUCKING WHITE and there's no option to make it darker, shit's hurting my eyes on this cheap monitor and it's just a pain to look at.

This is what a slider looks like, I'm unable to change how it looks. The blue is tearing my eyes out.
It used to be just white on windows 8, not too mention that it goes pitch black when I hover over with which makes it nearly invisible on this particular website.

It's exactly the same as on windows 8, it's just the windows are complete shit, I mean look at pic related. That also makes the point why the fuck the old settings screen is still there with not only some of the same but also completely different settings. In short there's 2 fucking settings menus.

False, in the control panel I can only view past updates and uninstall them, not search for new updates or install new ones.
Not too mention they moved this menu from system and security to programs because updates are programs apparently (probably their botnet).

Bonus hate: I just opened a bunch of tabs and there's this much fucking space between tabs and between the close thing.

windows doesn't make any sense any more, Linux on average is actual easier now. These people are making registry changes and group policy along with third party proprietary mysteryware to do what you accomplish with some terminal commands with in Linux.

WINE works better with the majority of programs than Windows 10 now.

Nah Windows 7 is still fine. I'll consider switching to Linux full time (I've actually used it intermittently since a long time ago) when support for windows 7 ends in 2020.
