I just bought an r9 290 for 150$, it came with an aio cooler attached to it

did I fuck up? I don't care about power usage when it comes to the rx 480, and it's 50$ cheaper

Aio liquid cooler?

I was very pleased with my old one... till it broke, but I suspect its because I used a cpu cooler with it (though I have yet to run across articles claiming theres any harm in this)

It's a decent card, and seeing how you got a good deal with it I say it's okay m8

If ever need to, you can reuse the cooler.
