Where were you when Google keyboard ascended to patrician tier?
>>
>>55726146
Welcome back.
Google Keyboard has been the best since its release.
>>
>>55726194
>Welcome back

Such an apt first comment. It's literally been months since I've been here.

Wasn't as bad as when I left it, judging from today.
>>
>>55726279
Now get rid of the screen tint crap and use the ambient light sensor to control brightness instead.
>>
>>55726328
Still too bright for me at night.

It's Twilight, I like it.

My eyes legitimately hurt when I turn it off and decide to post and read shit on clover.
>>
>>55726420
You can control the brightness without tinting the screen. Its a placebo.
>>
>>55726455
it's not
>>
>>55726146
How do I customize it? I heard it has theme support but I don't see anything in the settings
>>
>>55727647
You have to update it first ;)

Then you just go to setting and themes.

Hope you're not backloading it.
>>
Does it still send everything you type to Google's servers?

>>55726146
I'm sorry anon, but I just like my meme keyboard more.
>>
>>55727706
is that Fleksy?

also what are those options on the top right corner for?
>>
>>55727706
Fleksy was my go-to before Blackberry keyboard
>>
>>55727826
It is fleksy. I really like it so far. Really responsive, and fairly customizable. I was actually using the littlest option before I switched over, and it rarely got an error. Haven't turned on swipe though.

The shit on the right is to add gif's, emojis, and other cancerous things.
>>
>>55727706
i would definitely use this if it had a japanese input option
apparently there was one at some point but it's gone now
>>
>>55727981
>>55727706
Yeah I had an ebin Fleksy period.

Then I was tired of the gimmick and wanted another one, the slide keyboard one.

I think it does have slide now? I really like Fleksy, I heard it was ded tho.

Otherwise my second favorite keyboard.
>>

What's the best keyboard for Japanese? Google?

Using this for couple of years.

It mimics iphones keyboard dynamic size touch area prediction only on iphone you don't visually see it happening.

Wew lad
>>
>>55732915

It's abandoned and all fucked up and broken, you have to disable animations on 6.0 since they're kinda choppy looking but I still find it the best keyboard for smaller phones.

Whole trick is that based on dictionary it makes letter that has higher statistical probability being next bigger than others and it makes wonders for speed and accuracy of typing.

Red Moon is FOSS and has all of twilight's features

I just wish I could change the color if the letters a little but oh well. Also wish switching to noontime wasn't so clumsy unlike with Swiftkey. Also wish I could change the font.
>>
>>55733728
Oh god, why is the text prediction and auto correct so bad? Maybe I'll go back to Swiftkey after all
>>
idiots. just use the AOSP one. its the best

I guess I’ll stay for now with Swiftkey.

I've been using swiftkey forever and don't think I can leave at this point desu
>>
In Swiftkey, is there a way to have the numbers in a row at the top of the keyboard when you push the 123 button rather than having them in a dialpad configuration?
>>
>>55734218
You can have a number row or long press the top row.
>>
>>55726146

>>
>>55734379
Try using it for a few weeks and then try using your phone at night without it.
>>

I don't want the number row on the ABC keyboard though, and the long press sucks

>>

Unless you are still on kitkat, there is no reason to use twilight over f.lux.

Has swiftkey degraded over the past few years? I never hear anyone talk about it anymore.

I still use it, but maybe it's time for me to change. Any suggestions? I'm on an HTC One M8
