because unetbootin sucks

If it's for a Linux distro, they're all hybrid ISOs so you can just write them straight to the drive with win32diskimager or a win32 binary of dd. If it's for a Windows ISO, they have their own shitty tool for that.
>>
depends what you want to boot?

If you want windows, just use their damn microsoft creation tools.

rufus is best.

If it's windows 7 or above, just format your usb to FAT32 and copy the contents of the ISO to the USB
>>
>>55726138

Rufus works fine.
>>
>>55726370
Does rufus finally work with older Windows ISOs?
>>
>>55726397

yes

It still seems to have EULA problems when making XP installs

Easy2Boot, multiple options on bootable media, handles ISO's, and has lots of documentation on how to get things working properly if needed.

Are you fucking stupid?
>>

You tend to get septup loops when you burn the flashdrive with the microsft media creation tool.
>>
>>55726138
>>55728641

Though I recommended Rawrite32 earlier, I've also had success with the Windows 7 USB creator.

Rmprepusb and easy2boot

>>55728312
Download all the linux iso's you want, you're still a winfag.
>>
If I'm too lazy to use the command prompt in Windows, I just use yumi

Definetley easy2boot. Having 5+ os's on the same flash drive is so clutch.
>>
Just use Rufus
>>
>>55728724
Have you noticed that the second time you use the flashdrive on the same computer, the install loop appears.

I've been usig diskpart to wipe the hard drives though.

Also, why do you need to have window's installed in order to have your GNU/LINUX iso recognized by boot options?

Seconding this, Rufus is bloody useful
>>
Anybody knows an alternative to Power ISO?
something that supports the same disk image types and files system this program supports.

Rufus only supports a couple.
>couldn't burn a DMG.
>>
>>55726138
diskpart
list disk
select disk (number assigned to flash from from list disk above)
clean (it erases the drive)
create partition primary
format fs=fat32 quick
active
assign
exit

Then copy the Windows ISO contents to the USB drive. Will boot EFI or BIOS.
>>
>>55729481
Is there any disk partitioning utility that can be run from bootloader so you can format easily?
>>
>>55726138
I use unetbootin just for gentoo because yumi doesn't play nice with it for some reason
>>
>>55729355
Daemon tools maybe

Rufus.

ROSA
>>
>>55729098
Never had the bootloop issue, nor have I had the boot options issue. Ever. Either your version, your ISO, or your computer have something weird going on.
>>
Easy2boot all day, its just a matter of drag and drop for iso files and an extra few minutes to convert to .imgPTN if you need a UEFI installation. It does have its issues, but for the most part its great and idespensible if you often install operating systems or need a lot of live bootables.
>>
Rufus you doofus.
