Ok, /g/, so if CS isn't about computers, and it isn't about science, what is it about?
Could it be examined as a subset of engineering? Certainly most CS-related jobs ( web development not included ) involve solving problems in a resource-efficient and practical manner. At least if you're good at it they do. Code monkeys notwithstanding.

It's the science of computation you fucking twit. It's math tbqh

this has been discussed to death and a quick google search will answer this for you

It's the study of formalized logic as related to computing. Purely academic field, not a jobs program.

CS is all about math, you'll only get the very basics of programming (normally OOP in java or c++ and functional programming in Haskell (kinda useless irl desu)) with doesnt really translate in real world skills

Math is about what-is knowledge, whereas Computer science is about how-to knowledge.
That x is the sqrt(x2) is what math is for
actually computing it with, say, the newton method is how-to knowlege
But others will tell you that computer, so called science, actually has a lot in common with magic
