I use to mine a bit in 2013, but I never bought any equipment for it. I just used what I had, which was just a shitty GPU. I got in way, way too late for my meager setup to do any good.

If it wasn't dead before the reward halving, it certainly is now. Only people that can make money mining is million dollar enterprises that already have a solid datacenter infrastructure and can aquire mining hardware super cheap, like mining hardware manufacturers themselves.
Too late for hobbyist mining.
You need a warehouse if you want to make a profit over the electricity bill.
