How does phishing protection built into browsers and email work? And how can one get around them?

Im pretty sure Gmail uses big data and neural networks to automatically determine whats phishing and whats not.
As for browsers its probably a simple blacklist or maybe heuristics

The best way around them is probably through SMS messages since they offer no protection, or emailing people who use those shitty ISP provided email addresses, since they literally have no protection from spam or phishing, or other shitty email providers.
