I just picked up an SE last night to replace my lolhueg 6+, easily the best purchase I've made in a long time. Inexpensive but very slick and capable, so comfy. I haven't been impressed with a consumer-tier product in a while but this is just nice.

I agree, went from a 5 inch to 6, back to 5, and considering back to 4 since my daily usage was much more hassle free with a 5, and would be even easier with a 4 since I have smaller hands. I've been using a Nexus 4 for four years and am also thinking of switching to iPhone. I don't care about it being locked down since I'm pretty much over anything that rooted Android has to offer aside from the ability to easily pirate apps onto it.

Plus I'm trying to move into the business would in a big city at agencies filled with hipsters and want to fit in to the work environment which is all iPhones and OSX aside from the Android test devices.

I'm sure I'll get shit on by all the thinkpad-using neckbeards here but would the iPhone 6s be a good upgrade from my Nexus 4? Particularly the battery life and camera which makes my Instagram look like shit to potential clients.

I just bought an LG g3 for $110. A similarly priced iPhone would be the 4s. My mom has the 4s right now, with the latest ios. It lags way more, takes shittier pictures, and the screen is super tiny. This LG g3 is insanely responsive and quick.

I'm an admitted flopper between android devices and iPhones. While I'm currently using a Galaxy S7(which the whole "S" experience is pretty meh), I often get drawn back to iPhone for a couple reasons: more cohesive experience between apps, iMessage, being able to easily manage the phone and data on it through iTunes, easily repairable, and girls just like them more.

I don't torrent anymore. I don't care about customization anymore. I can get a 64gb version. Why shouldn't I get an iPhone?

I have a Moto E 2nd gen and mine also runs smooth as fuck with only I think 1GB of RAM. But maybe I just don't do enough with my phone. I was amazed, because I downgraded from a Droid Maxx to the Moto E, and despite having less ram and a worse processor, it never lagged for me in the way the Maxx would.

On paper yes. In just about every technical aspect the 6P is superior. But one thing people fail to understand is that you can also use price to filter out a demographic you don't want. Apple wants the upper middle class and the rich to help reinforce their image. To some people that means that you pay more not to be associated with poor android users (granted most poor people have iPhones they can't afford anyway) and you also are part of a much more developed ecosystem. I guess what I'm saying is there are things to an iPhone that aren't exactly tangible that you get.

Legitimate gripe, although me personally I never had issues so long as you get the 64GB model. Audiophilia is a hobby of mine and I have tons of FLAC and SACD rips but the thing is for my phone I just encode to 320. Some people are autistic to the point they want their entire FLAC collection on their phone but to me that seems silly. I'll be honest here, when I first got the 6P what was immediately noticable to me was the gap between the glass and the display. The 6P display just seemed "dull" despite the high res to me. There's also issues with rainbowing at off angles on the 6P. Overall I prefer the 6P display but I don't think the resolution is a very big deal. OLED is definitely an improvement though.

From a technical standpoint the S7 beats it but software is no comparison. The S7 is fast but using the camera on any other android phone is miserable. This is especially true inside of apps that use the camera like Snapchat or WhatsApp. iOS camera software is just much superior and the 7 will bring the hardware up to match.

Decided to try an iphone 6s, beautiful little fucker. Build quality is great, good camera obv. But it just didnt feel right. Navigating through apps was cumbersome to me.

Ended up returning it the next day for a cheapass galaxy grand prime. Saved like 400$ and this phone is essentially a galaxy S4 specs, so feels like home. No regerts

I'm down for an SE from my current 4S. I've got some cases and lens adapters that'll fit a 5s/SE.

The new phones look like they'll have better cameras but will be much more expensive, also the lens bumps are hideous.

SE is beautiful design at a good price. Probably won't get a discount in September just disappear like the 5c did.

Well, it was my first iDevice, so had to experience to rely on. (And OSX Betas were rather good sans Yosemite) Funny enough the first beta performs pretty much like finished Android, at times it runs fine but you get the shitty responsiveness moments; I am used to that, so it wasn't a biggie either way.
