Yes, if they were selling it for a cost-effective price - rather than more expensive than some suppliers will do the much, much better HGST UltraStar He10.
It is not the sweet spot.
For home use which involves hoarding large files and not really overwriting or updating them much, actually that is one of the things the SMR Archive drives would in fact be suitable for, and those are much, much more cost-effective.
