What doas /g think of the apple keyboard ?
/g will hate it. Where can I find low travel mechanical keyboard switches?? Are there any that work with "normal" switch holes?

it's really annoying to use for too long.
had to use them at high school back when laptops weren't allowed

Been using it daily for the past 8 years I've owned this iMac. Feels fine.
Fake and gay. Mostly gay.

I got one, absolutely terrible for your wrists since it sits so low without wrist support. Typing on a Macbook is more comfortable, and that's already a pretty shitty experience in itself.

I think they are pretty good. Very comfy to type, layout is great too.

massive pain in the arse to use. i had a suite of imacs in secondary school when these were first introduced. absolutely nowhere to rest my hands (the table had holes and dicks carved into them) the usb hub didn't help with my ergonomics, and the chiclet keys were nasty. and yet my school didn't let me bring in my model m because they thought it'd give the computer a virus. fucking retards

Apple Extended Keyboard II, circa 1990. Great keyboards. I'm using one, have another one coming in the mail.
Highly recommended. Alps keyswitches, ver' nice.

No feedback, low travel. Basically it's good if you like a macbook pro's keyboard (although that's clickier).
Have the magic keyboard, replaced my other wireless apple keyboard recently.
good upgrade and form factor.

I used it for a long ass while on my desktop hackintosh and it was pretty good.
Until I changed to a mechanical keyboard. Apple keyboard never again. The chicklet keys on the Apple keyboard felt like using a laptop keyboard afterwards, where you feel like the keys can fall off any second. Just buy a mechanical keyboard that supports OS X configuration, get a cap puller, and put the meta key where it is supposed to be.
this was always a superior thin keyboard.

I meant the layout of the ctrl, alt, command, @/#, return, etc buttons.
The short travel time on those apple keyboards really allows for fast typing, even if typing isn't as enjoyable as it is on a mech.
