Reports from Zen engineering samples say similar IPC to Haswell. Skylake only has marginally higher IPC.

The fact AMD can put a powerful GPU and a powerful CPU on the same chip will drive Intel and Nvidia out of the midrange laptop market just like it drove Nvidia out of the console market.
