picked up this lot today for $8. Saw the multi meter and asked an employee to get it out from the case. It was bagged up with all the other items here. I couldnt really much information on the voice-it-all. i know the wizard is a pda, but dosent have a card in the slot, i assume it requires it to boot. Either way its all very neat. Did i find anything good /g/? have you found any cool stuff at thrift stores?

I bought my current router (Asus n66r) at a salvation army for $5. The router was missing antennas, so I just bought some high gain ones off the web. I flashed tomato onto it and it works pretty nice.
There's a ton of good stuff if you look hard enough. I've missed out on a pair of nice pinnacle pn5 bookshelf speakers recently, since I chose not to buy them, and then left. I returned the next day and they were gone.

Picked up a pair of Celestion Model 1 bookshelf speakers for $9. I couldn't find much about them online, but they do sound nice. Not my picture, but its exactly what they look like. Came with mint grilles too.
My amp is an Onkyo TX8511 I got from goodwill for $20. Supposed to be an average amp, but I've read that they have a pretty good phono section. Going to scour for a turntable next time I go thrifting.

I was told that turntables are hard to find at thrift stores, but in my experience they're somewhat common. On the other hand, good turntables are rare.
You might want to try Craigslist or whatever is in your area if you're impatient.

Got an Apple TV 2nd Gen for $4.99. Came home and noticed that it's the jailbreakable version and it sells for more than double the price of a 3rd gen (before the new 4th gen came out). Didn't have the remote but luckily my Note 4 IR Blaster worked with it.

Still haven't taken it to the radio shop in my village to see if it works before I buy a power cable or an antenna
