Which one is better buy for the same price? R9 Nano or 8 gig RX 480?

nano
Nano hands down
but I dont think they will be same price for long RX480 will be going down
>>55688215
The Nano is quite a bit more powerful, especially above 1080p and if you overclock it to Fury X speeds by raising the power limit so it doesn't throttle.
Should one be worried about the 4 gigs of vram? Which is more "future proof" as of now?

lol
Why is the card on the left so huge?
Nano is above gtx 980 in dx11
480 is gtx 970 in dx11
AMD didnt allow Aftermarket coolers on the nano though so all of them are hot as fuck and have significant coil whine
>>55688890
It's actually smaller
>>55688890
because OP forgot depth of field virtualisation when rendering this image
>>55688905
Isn't the coil whine fixed by limiting fps?
I always did that with my cards
Though I never forced them
>Chose setting where I get 70+fps on average, but lock it down to 60
>no whine
>card stays cool
>longer lifespan
I'm more impressed if OP can get a nano for 250 odd bucks
>>55688932
lol wot a moron
>>55688905
>all of them are hot as fuck
Nice meme.
>and have significant coil whine
The review samples did. Retail cards were much improved on that front and further revised later, just as the Fury X was revised to eliminate the pump whine that plagued early cards.

No bucks. Euros. And over 300 of them. Still around the same price.
