I like it. First linux boot I have been able to get working in ages. It has a slew of problems, (i.e. wifi did not have right drivers on install and blah blah blah) but if you are going to boot linux and arent expecting a shitton of problems, you are probably getting linux for the wrong reasons.
The flexibility is incredible, drive encryption is a plus, and anything that may break can be fixed if you have the know-how and elbow grease...
So... probably the same as every other release.

I had to disable that because it kept popping up at every boot for some reason. I wish canonical didnt focus all their attention at their failing mobile phone os lately.
Fedora has taken it's place as the most non-fuss distro.
Tried it when it came out and it was extremely disappointing for an LTS.
Pretty much all of the bugs I found in the pre-release versions made it to the final release.
Mint 18 which is based on it is also not as good as 17.3 was.
Maybe 16.04.1 is better, I'll try it tomorrow.

I wish Fedora wasn't so Gnome focused.

Are Fedora spins as well supported as Ubuntu variants?

Nah, Mint is the go to.
