If you use Linux, and you need to use software that only runs on Windows (usually games), then dual-boot and only use Windows for your games. If you really care about your freedom and/or privacy being compromised, then don't dual-boot, and deal with the current FOSS alternatives on GNU/Linux.

It's really simple, OP. People always argue over nothing and take sides in a black-and-white way.

I love how you say that like we're only able to take the vanilla version of windows 10 and there is nothing a user can do to make Windows 10 less invasive than it is in it's vanilla state.
