Can we please have an adult discussion about having both Windows 10 and a Linux distro on one computer in a configuration that maximizes privacy that doesn't devolve into a Linux vs Windows false dichotomy argument?
no.

Where do you think you are?
>>55671782
on a board that isn't /b/
maybe you should ask lord qek
Linux gaming exists. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
>>55671839
Wine sucks. Most of my games on steam are for Windows.
>>55671851
Doesn't mean Linux gaming doesn't exist.
>>55671903
I never said it didn't.
>>55671798
/g/ is a board that's more autistic than average. Because you admit to use windows 10 willingly, expect autism and fighting to happen.
>>55671940
where did I admit to using windows 10.
>>55671926
So what was the point in the thread?
>>55671977
>have an adult discussion about having both Windows 10 and a Linux distro on one computer in a configuration that maximizes privacy
>>55671962
I thought you were OP, who did mention using or wanting to use windows 10.
>>55671994
Yeah what does that even mean
You have no privacy while using any microsoft product. What's there to discuss?
>>55671752
What is there to discuss?
If you use Linux, and you need to use software that only runs on Windows (usually games), then dual-boot and only use Windows for your games. If you really care about your freedom and/or privacy being compromised, then don't dual-boot, and deal with the current FOSS alternatives on GNU/Linux.
It's really simple, OP. People always argue over nothing and take sides in a black-and-white way.

Will I get married?

Roll

>only use Windows
I love how you say that like we're only able to take the vanilla version of windows 10 and there is nothing a user can do to make Windows 10 less invasive than it is in it's vanilla state.
