Google is shitting the bed on me right now.
I know jobification is related to multi threading and load balancing, but i cant seem to get a clear answer as to what it is. Can anyone explain jobification in simple terms?

So no one knows fuck all about jobify or jobification?
And a bunch of fucks created a jobify website, a jobify wordpress theme, etc and in turn ruin any searches for the fucking programming term jobification.

I found what i was searching for by looking up "job based multithreading", if anyone is wondering.
Fuck these businesses that use programming terms as their name.

Jobification isnt a term I have ever encountered. But if you're interested in scalability scheduling etc you'll want to look up messaging queues and patterns pub/sub etc.

From what i can tell, jobification is the strategy of converting code (that would normally run on a thread) into 'jobs' which fill a quene. The quene's jobs are then processed by any number of threads. This is primarily for parallelism and scalability.
The tradeoff is jobification overhead, so any jobs computational cost must outweigh the cost of adding and popping it off the quene. Only comoutationally expensive code is jobified then.
I heard a new term today that made my anus seize: interlocked bit vector.
W.T.F?

I know what you mean, but I think there's a more common name for what you're looking for

Yeah, there probably is. Thats an issue i have with programming & tech terms - fucks keep reinventing and renaming things to make an old concept 'new' and 'magical'. Jobification is essentially the same thing as having a task quene, but oh no lets call it something new and beat our dicks off while we confuse people.
