Does it even matter which wifi card to get?
If it does matter, which one is the best for a good price?

What router do you have?
Connect thru cable

I guess a little, but most of them have the same chip or family of chip in them.

Are they better than usb adapters?

Got a $20 TP wifi card. It's good for 150Mbps but if you have faster internet then that or needing huge range get the $40 TP wifi card from Amazon

was looking at a TP-Link card but another anon in a sqt thread told me not to get a TP-Link and just go with a much cheaper one
>>55658305
Absolutely. It runs through pcie instead of usb so not only is it using a faster interface, it has more room for a bigger and better chip.

Look for best compatibility with your OS (Windows is included in consideration).

Yes it does to a certain extent, I had an old Rosewill card that would cause random ctds but as soon as I swapped the card out for another one they went away

What's your internet speed? Do you need fast speed over LAN?
>>55658309
Got the TP card, working great. I've got an older router and slow service so the speed supported by the card isn't an issue.
If you have access to fast internet, you probably have access to a wired connection anyway.
