I use CloudAtCost because it's dirt cheap and terrible. My servers randomly restart every few days... The shitty quality is fitting because I host a shitty site. Let me bring it back up.

youserver.se are really good. Use them for some VPN and proxy cause they have one datacenter in Sweden and another in Latvia.
HostUS, it's like $6 a month for 6 GB RAM and 2 TB bandwidth OpenVZ. Currently using it as my first server testbed, having my friend pentest it so I know I've set up iptables/SSH/etc. up right. It's also being used to host a Postgres database that my gf uses to research data analysis algorithms for our startup. Gonna use it as a web server and move the database to a KVM host once our web application is showing significant progress.
