Seagate Backup Plus Slim
>Good price
>Removable 2,5" drive
>Samsung Spinpoint drive inside not a seagate
I'm thinking about getting the 2TB of it. Checked Toshiba Canvio and WD drives but it seems u cannot use the 2,5" drive inside on anywhere else cause of the attached usb port to the drive.
Should i go for it? Stop me if im not doing the right thing please.

I bought this thing and had no problem taking it apart and using it on my CFW PS3.

I'm gonna use it as a external drive right now but who knows in the future.
>take HDD of choice
>put in external drive bay of choice
>save $50
Yes faggot, now stop bumping

You can get these cheaper in the enclosure. It's like $20-$40 more getting it OEM.

The software is complete garbage, believe me. It's 60/40 chance of the backup working.
>>55627048
I dont care about the software, never ever gonna use it.
>>55627048
Why would you ever use that?

Is there a decent alternative that backups files individually?

>using the software that comes with a drive
does anyone actually do this?
I always format my HDDs and flash drives when I see any of that stuff on it.

Is Crashplan a decent alternative for backup?
The free version has local backup features, so you can ignore the online cloud stuff and use it to copy files on local drives.
