in my attic i found a broken VHS tape of an old 2006 football match
then i remembered me and my friend were bored and smashed it in two sometime around 2009
the case is broken but the rolls are pretty much intact except that its ripped at the beginning
can it be fixed by using the case of a blank tape?

Just confess, it's full of porn isn't it...

It's actually the case that holds the data, the tape spools are actually dynamos that power the case. You can put the spool into another case but it will still show the video that was loaded onto the other case.

how can i stick the spool to the roll? it's wrinkled, should i cut the wrinkled part off and then get some transparent paper thingy and superglue it to the roll? I don't wanna fuck things up

you have to slide out a small notch in the drive wheel, insert the tape and secure it again with the notch. i guess all casette catriges work just like this.
