So guyz wtf happened here just wanted to try out my code (http://prntscr.com/bsyvsv a basic file size displayer)
>got the output pic related
>wtf.jpg
>restarted VisualStudio
>got normal output

Some explanations:
Output was: Filesize: 151.232 (pic related) ... > crash
Got this output multiple times debuging until restart

could it be that this is some data of nearby memory addresses?
srsly whats going on here

Is yours a real question OP?
You're wondering why the .exe file looks like gibberish on the text editor? is that it?
This might be a troll but just in case you really don't know OP:
the .exe is a compiled file, a binary, machine code, full of non-ascii characters. The few text you see is environment functions probably resident in the .data section or something
You write a .c or .cpp file and then pass it thorugh the compiler which produces actually executable machine code which doesn't look in any way meaningful in a text editor. Hence: a binary
>>
>>55578605

You didn't read a single word in op's post, did you? Are you just too smart to do that?
>>
>>55576598
I believe the (main) issue is an unchecked array access with types[sizeindex].
>>
>>55576598

you are comparing an integer and a float in float... >999 on line 27, that's bad practice.

Also, it looks like the while loop will never terminate.
