Red pill me on WebAssembly, /g/.

Official version of asm.js
So if performance for your web app is critical or you like coding in assembly then you should care about it, otherwise nothing you need to bother with.

No, that's not correct.
You will hypothetically be able to compile to WebAssembly from different languages, and the compiled bytecode-type-thing will be able to run in browser with more efficiency and a smaller file size than Javascript.
>>55565182
It seems like it's just compiled JavaScript?
>>55565182
Its a false flag.

its a meme

So JavaScript can go from hard to read to unreadable?

It sounds retarded. Even TempleOS uses high level JIT-compiled language (HolyC) despite trying to be modern C64, and running everything in ring 0.
>>55565182
It's hard if you're not a spider.
>>55566189
That's because asm.js would compile C to LLVM which then would be compiled to low level JS. So basically any language that can be compiled to LLVM may be compiled to WebAssembly.

It's actually a WebAST, but that doesn't sound as cool.
