I think youre pretty much obligated to use Swift for iOS development, if not, just pick one of higher level languages that can make your code platform-wide compatible with Android, Windows phones and maybe web/pc too so you have a wide market.

learn swift. why? cos apple is moving everything to it from obj-c. which is good cos its a rather nice language.
