Well, I've had an iPod Touch 2G before, the same exact thing I'm talking about. But I went dumpster diving and cleaned it off, after that I plugged it in and formatted it, it worked like it was brand new at the time. But it can't download apps or anything, all it can do is browse the web. If I sold it, I doubt it'd be worth a fortune or anything.
I was wondering if anybody knows any hacks or ways to upgrade the iOS of a iPod Touch 2G. Also I won't be using Whited00r as I've tried it and it didn't satisfy me whatsoever.
Throw me ideas what I should do with this iPod Touch 2G, it's literally in flawless condition.
Also the image I have listed isn't mine, it is one I found off the internet.
Sell it on ebay or to an old lady
Throw it away
Play music?
If Whited00r doesn't do anything for you, I guess you pretty exhausted your options.
Use it as a car player via Bluetooth or a (wired) FM transmitter.
Sell it on Craigslist locally for some lunch money. Sell it on eBay and half your sale will pretty much be lost to fees.
Give it to a relative young or non tech savvy enough to care.
Are you the dude from last night who wanted to destroy one because "I want to destroy something lol"? Interesting having two iPod 2G threads in a day, but I'm probably just insane for noticing.
I just found an old 2006 Macbook Pro sitting in my neighbors trash. No battery but I managed to fix it up and reinstall OSX Lion on it. Works ok so far. I thought about installing Debian on it but it's a cool little piece of history. So is that iPod OP. Keep it safe for future generations to appreciate.

Sold way too much and too insignificant for people to care. The only iOS device that will have any real historical value is the 1st Gen iPhone, which is already worth upwards of $1000 in Good condition.

One day it'll be a $3000 collectors item and you'll be sorry you sold it for $20.

It'll be year 2100 before it's worth that much and $3000 would only buy you 1 weeks worth of groceries.

One day I'll see someone bring one to antiques roadshow or some shit and get a bunch of money. Then I'll think back to this thread and laugh.
