I recently bought a new computer and am currently waiting on the vega series of cards to come out before i put in money to buy something really nice. That being said, I sold my old comp so the price on it didn't plummet and I actually lost money. My question is I want to play games while I wait but I'm not sure of which card right now has the most lasting value. I can get the R7 370 4gb for 129 on amazon, but I was also thinking of an aftermarket 480 so it has more selling value when I get rid of it.

What should I do in this situation /g/?

1060 is this month, the 17th i think. Like I said that may drive the 480s price down. The RX470 I'm not sure.

I got the Sapphire R7 370 4GB. I'm running Debian now so the drivers aren't up to par, but on Windoze The Witcher 3 was playable 1080p at high settings. Pretty decent value. the AIB 480's look really promising now but no way to really tell yet. Wish I went nvidia because of my free software fetish.
