I think that alone is a solid reason not to buy it. Other than that, if you actually decide to buy it, keep in mind that the resale value is almost non-existent, because Sony pretty much failed in the smartphone department. I think HTC 10 is the best phone to but right now. Near stock Android UI, great DAC and great speakers, great hardware and a pretty good camera.

Forgot to add a few things: great custom ROM support, if you even need one (CM, AOSP), because Qualcomm is developer friendly unlike Exynos. Theming engine is interesting. That would be it. HTC 10 is definitely my next phone, after S5.

I have even more reasons to doubt buying Sony. Also I don't even need 4k, but the price difference in my case between Z5 and Z5P wasn't huge.

In terms of looks, only Apple and Sony make good looking phones. It's actually almost ridiculous how companies like HTC, LG and some such don't give a fuck about it. I've seen some fucking ugly flagship phones and I wonder if its worth sacrificing even some specs in favor of better looking phone, especially if you don't need it to run advanced apps.
