Do you guys think theres any negative effects of having the phone battery constanly be charging and stuck at a percentage while playing pokemon go for more than 3 hours straight every day?
also is it bettery to just have a backup battery rather than a portable charger?

Shouldnt be, a good phone would decide to use the power coming in through USB and not use the battery. All power that is unused goes to charging the battery.

What happens if the power used doesn't exceed the input power? What happens to the excess? Isn't this what kills the battery?
